NE Iowa | Had goats for 15 years but been out about 5. Decent money in it but quite a bit of work. You want a high percentage or purebred Boer goats. They waste hay worse then a cow. Need good shelter as not as hardy as beef cattle. Leave horns alone as hard to catch without them. It's like raising mini beef cow / calf. Kidding problems, kids needing help nursing, mean ones, etc. | |
