It must've worked ok back then, or there'd be more teeth on it already.
I was pretty young, but I seem to remember if you lowered the unloader too far, the drive wheel would get buried. Maybe more teeth on leading auger would help pull the unloader? It is possible that the silo unloader was not weighted properly. My parents never had a manual to set up the machine properly. Was probably installed in silo and ran as is without much adjustment. |
