Red River Valley | This post belongs in the boiler room so this will be the last time I answer but tax cuts have not worked to creat any jobs since Kennedy but than he took them down from between 60%-70% to around 45% both the Regan and Bush tax cuts would have got US squat with out the major deficiet spending. Under Bush if you take into account the first 4 months of the Obama presidency ( which I beleive is Fair some think it takes about 6 month's to clear) than Bush's total job creation was a negitive Number.
The problem with our two party system is one party wants to Tax and spend the other wants to borrow and spend well the borrow and spend option is dead. and I have listened to the wailing by the Repoublicans over the desire to cut farm programs. long enough to know that cutting spending will only work if they cut the other guy's welfare because we farmers ( who btw are mostly in the riches 5% by net worth in this country) need our farm programs. Notice how I didn't dare say welfare. | |
