Subject: How far can you bridge concrete?

I have an old home slab that we plan to use for parking of cars and light trucks. Attached is a picture of the slab. It is 28 ft wide and 110 ft long. Halfway down the slab there is a crawl space that is 28 ft long and 4.5 ft wide and 4 ft deep. There is a 2'x2' access in the slab to get to the crawl space. There is 5 1/2" of concrete over the top. The sidewalls of the crawl space are concrete blocks on a foundation. The second picture is inside the crawl space. Will 5 1/2 in of concrete with a bridge length of 4 1/2' hold up cars and light pickup trucks? The slab is about 50 years old and I don't know if there is any reinforcing in the concrete.
I am trying to decide if the crawl space need to be filled in and concrete poured to support the existing slab.
