SW OH | Hydra push spreaders have their place, but they are a bigger job to fix when they are broken or rusted away. I bought the Pik-Rite several years ago and had a problem with it almost right away. The cylinder tore out of the front wall/top floor and wadded up the hydraulic lines between the 2 cylinders. Not long after the top floor caught on the bottom floor and tore both of them up. I cant find the pics of the Pik-Rite second repair. We got the 780 out of the shop yesterday and it has not been used yet.
We have rebuilt several chain spreaders as well. Hydra push spreaders unload evenly all the way and have a quicker cycle time.
