Are you having issues finding a shearer? That has to be the only downfall of wool sheep.
I would like to get 40 hair ewes sometime. I would like to know how much cheaper the hair ewe is to #1 feed #2 keep inside pen #3 is lamb drop higher or the same? it may totally beat my wool sheep system.even with the supposed discount for hair.
But I will probably never know till I personally try.
I've heard that there is a performance drop moving from wool to hair - - - but that's hearsay.
Even as hearsay it would make me think twice.
