I'll second the Braun. Have had one for 20 years or so. I'm on my second one that is about 5 years old. First one the battery just wore out. You will have to replace the foil and cutter about once a year at $40 a shot.
I think they shave almost as close as a blade. Some people get a rash from electric razors but I have never had that problem.
