we love the mentality of a bud tub, the low stress handling, and using cattle's natural instincts is so advantages. But the things we dont like are how you need to be in the bud box to work them most efficiently. when you bring 1 or 2 to many animals than what your alley can hold those last two head dont have any where to go and they spin and get very stressed. most of the bud boxes we see/replace guys have added a second gate to crowd those last few animals or the stubborn ones down essentially creating now a horribly designed tub.
SO our answer to these issues is what we call the Bud Tub its a hybrid of the two designs. we have well placed gate latches, walk through doors. and catwalks to help put a low experienced operator in the correct positions with out them even realizing that they are working the system properly | |
