| A friend just bought a semi with singles on the rear and ran it through harvest with no troubles, even though the other neighbors told him it would not work well. It was pretty dry this year at harvest.
As to answering another question that you didn't ask........ Have you looked into buying a truck that fits your requirements and then having the transmission switched from a manual to an Allison? My farm did that to a few trucks but it's been about 20 years ago. Used Allison transmissions were not super expensive back then. | |
