nc ks | I suppose at some point it would help if you say that you have the means to farm like you want to and plan to keep doing that and efficiency and profitability are secondary factors that you don't have to prioritize. You actually have said that without saying it and there is nothing wrong with what you are doing if you can swing it and enjoy it. A lot of us come from the side of having to or wanting to keep things lean to prosper and have to make decisions based on what is economically viable even if it means we are not doing the specific task we would most prefer.
What I'm trying to say is there are farmers that would quit farming if they can't have their fingers wrapped around the combine steering wheel or the planter tractor steering wheel and then there are farmers that fill the holes in the team where the team functions most effectively. Opinions between the two groups are going to be much different.
