Eastern NE KS | Thank you for the link. I was trying to explain a bud box to my neighbor mainly because I think it is less expensive than a tub, built or purchased. I drew the basic diagram like in the video and said cattle hit the end and come back to the alley. But that's only a part of the story and not the best choice of words either.
His #1 objection was he did not want to be in the pen with the cattle. His #1 concern is he did not believe cattle would flow as shown. I didn't know to explain the animal's desire to keep an eye on the pressure/handler while circling left into the narrow alley.
Bud says a handler can be outside the box but this video does not show that detail. My neighbor may be still hesitant because he is somewhat set on a tub. Even still, this video will be a major help to show and explain the tool.
