| I am in the exact same boat as you. We all understand semis are cheaper and most times better but if you can’t find drivers they are just expensive yard ornaments. I have a semi and an automatic tandem and never have trouble finding someone capable of driving the tandem but struggle to find semi drivers. I also agree that semis seem to be a magnet for DOT and ambulance chasing lawyers but most will hardly raise an eyebrow at a straight truck. | |
