I live in Indiana but only about 1.5 mile from the Illinois state line. My understanding is IL doesn't recognize tri-axles. Go through a road construction site in IL & all the trucks are 22-24' dump trailers, cross the line into IN & they're most quads with a few triaxles thrown in, won't see a dump trailer.
