I didn't price steel but just last week I priced a 21' aluminum, box, hoist, wet kit and tarp was $40k + with no labor, no offense but prices 3-5 years ago are irrelevant now, I understand op wanted a straight truck but I would be shocked if he could get it done for your numbers now
I have been trying to sell my tandem. Had it on marketplace for several months.
Very little interest. It is a 2004 IH 7400 No bells or whistles. 21ft Kann aluminum
bed with hoist and electric tarp all used 5 years. Double doors and small doors in them. Has 6 speed allison auto. trans. This was a heavy duty garbage truck. Can be driven from either side.
Maybe I will sell box hoist tarp and hyd pump and scrap truck. Is anyone interested? Would like $27000 for all. Too old to do trucking. |
