Macon, IL | I don't want to drive a truck, prefer to drive the combine.
I have a full time job off farm-so much of my harvesting happens os that job allows-and I have to be flexible. I have a loyal group of Sr. Citizens who have been with me for a decade that fit the bill, they love driving trucks and grain carts-they do a great job. I love working with them too. Just trying to upgrade some capacity-not trying to change the whole operation.
If that means I have to pay a little more for a truck/capacity than other would do for their situation-I'm ok with that-makes sense for mine.
