Auto tandems are stupid high right now-figuring out I can build what I want with new bed and hoist cheaper than I can buy anything put together-so I am shopping for truck to start with.

Have found a candidate that checks most boxes but one concern is it has the "super singles" on it-how would those be under an 20ft tandem? Wondering if would be a problem in field?

I don't quite get spending that much on a straight truck. I really don't understand worrying about what type of rims it has on it if you are going to spend that kinda money on it. Swap the rims andbtires out if they aren't what you want but the truck is what you want.

I don't think the supersingles would be a huge detriment, especially if you put some agressive tires on the rims. That will cost you though. A lot of silage guys are running singles with very aggressive tread.
