Red River Valley | In my opinion the reason to keep the Insurance program is it allows the farmer a way to take some control over is own circumstances.
with the ability to buy Insurance at a some what reasonable rate It will allow those farmer's that so desire to sell growing season rallies with at least the knowledge that 60% of those sales are covered in case the worst case weather event happens.
I guess I look at it as a way for the farmer to control some of his own destiney. | |
