a hammer mill. Since going to a hammer mill I can process faster and get a finner grind,if dusty we add a garden hose-usually feeding around10.000 to 20,000lbs a day
(100 to 300bushel) it got to be a daily grind with a smaller mill, we added more commodity bays and can process about 2,000 bushel in each bay-normal to grind about 3000 bushel a hour with the small older 1000 haybuster with the box on top with a 100horse power tractor.the small grinder with the box is probably my best investment as it will grind about any kind of corn, easy to hook up and with the rear discharge conveyor you can get a lot in a bay, works great with a grain cart also''.
With some corn (damage) coming by hopper bottom trucks we just dump them and then scoop up the corn and dump it into the hopper with are small payloader.

You have room for couple more bays in your picture-I would add on 2 more bays and pour more crete out front first
the used 1000 haybuster cost $5000 it has so far done around 500,000 bushel since we redid the hammers and screens-it will probably run another 500,000 bushel before we need new hammers and screens
use to run a electric mill with a flex auger-seems i was always working on electric motors and couldnt run sticky crappy damage corn thru it
