Old IH mechanic told of one they had put a bigger turbo on, built an intercooler for along with an inline pump. Guy was plowing DesMoine river bottom, the dealer wanted to sell him a new 4166, said when they brought it out for a demo it would not come close to pulling what that 1206 would, thought it was running over 200hp.
