New Mexico | Electrics here are out of smaller ( not major car co ) plants.
Title / Vehicle registration is issued by the State.
Since the electrics here are low in price compared to traditional cars, my bet is That influences sales more than any other issue. ( 8k to 11k here NEW vs alot more for traditional stuff )
Possibly, the afore eventually translates back to canned type sales numbers.
Possibly it does NOT, too.
There over 100 companies which manufacture cars in China.
Perhaps 5 of those which You may have heard of.
btw, Those are traditional type cos known to most Americans.
The Worlds's premier battery co focusing their product for car use IS Chinese ( the one Buffet recently bought 8.5% of ).
The rest of the story for the future appears to be rather obvious.
