Sanilac Co. Michigan | Thanks for all the helpful advise.
My base rate on small grains is 10 gpa of 10-34-0. I like the idea of a little agitation because sometimes I mix in zinc, maybe a humic, or other micros and I don't want them settling out. Even the base 10-34-0 can leave some goop in the bottom of the tank, so maybe alleviate some of that.
This year I'm thinking of putting those "additions" through my inductor as I'm filling the tank from the nurse tank, so that might help a bit to keep things in suspension.
I know liquid is pound for pound more expensive than dry, even though I have the capability to use dry on my drill, but that comes with its own fair share of problems. Fertilizer wagon out in the rain, fertilizer dust on everything, froze up fertilizer, corrosion, the list goes on. Plus I'd be filling the fertilizer hoppers every ten acres or less. At least with liquid you can always add or get bigger tanks and it washes off a whole lot easier.
