South Central Kansas | I have a neighbor who has 8 cows and calves in about a 3 acre lot with water and hay bunks and a shed for some shelter. He takes total care of them and does all the feeding and watering. Well water is provided.
What would be a fair daily rate to charge him? I like having cattle in there as they keep the grass eaten down and keep the fire hazard down. I sold my cattle 10 years ago and another neighbor rents the naitive grass pasture and has access to another lot.
Any suggestions as to a fair rent price per head, per day?
