Possibly but I've not sure how sticky it will be come spring, I've been using woolwax on vehicles and come spring it isn't very tacky anymore. But it is very difficult to get off, fluid film might come off easier, woolwax is a thicker version of it. If worried about keeping it clean could always just fog with oil/diesel mix instead.
