Subject: RE: John Deere guidance on Trimble hardware?

Parker, SD
We're just in a position with a cleanish slate and wanted to compare cost options and what's available, outside of a pro700 I'm unfamiliar with Trimble screens, if the pro700 is their best example ill never buy a Trimble product... we have a 2600 in the sprayer so I'm familiar with that screen.

I familiar with Trimble guidance hardware as in you need a NAVII/III controller, autosense/IMD900, some type of radio/globe setup for GPS, 252/262/372 or in other ways a 342, 442 ect.

My question is what is involved in a John Deere system, I know you need a display, a globe, iTC(with cheater box), 3000, 6000 ect. What else is involved/needed, what is their nav control system? what is their aftermarket WAS? Its as much as question of knowledge as much as it is what should we do for a system.
