Had a bad day hauling fertilizer with my truck about a month ago. I escaped mostly unscathed but the truck did not. Insurance has totaled it out and I bought it back. Trying to decided what to do with it now to try and get as much money back as I can. It has a 3406E with 348k miles on it. What's a ballpark guess for what a truck like this is worth? Its a 1998 Volvo, 10-speed.
To me that looks like a $9,000 truck in good shape, $3,000 as is, or $10k for engine, $800 transmission, $500 fuel tanks, and $2000 for wheels and tires if they’re all on pallets.
I wouldn’t fix it.
