My wife and I visited in 2022. We stayed at an AirBnB in East Glacier and drove up to St Mary's to take the Going to the Sun Road west. East Glacier is where the Glacier Park Lodge is located and there is also an Amtrak stop there. Remember you need a reservation to go on the Going to the Sun Road. Very beautiful park.  The Going to the Sun Road can be closed by snow until mid to late June.
