Subject: RE: Quantimeter vs......

Central, IA
We ran the quantimeter at first in our 750. Changed it to full ag leader when displaycast came out to allow two machines in one field.

Bought a 8700 this year that was ag leader ready. Decided just to run with it rather than rush to get it converted. Also have a 740 with full ag leader. The calibration on the 8700 seemed less stable and moved around a lot more on different varieties and moistures. Plan is to convert it this winter.

We weigh everything as it comes in on our scale. After putting the tickets in excel, I also include the the raw pounds from the yield monitor to compare, make sure I'm not missing a ticket. The variation on the quantimeter was wider than full ag leader.
