Subject: RE: Eutectic metal spray welding torch

Holland, Indiana (SW IN)
I never tried to run just air through
I remember when using --if not much if not much powder comes through or none-- it's choaked up
turn off torch put your finger over the tip (preferably with a welding glove on) push handle as if to dispense powder
Will blow oxygen into your bottle of powder and clear plug

jdironman weld looks like a smooth covering of nickel --nickel is the bonding agent carbide flakes is the anti wear part
We bought ours 40 or more years back to hardcoat the leading edge of the bean header auger
Worked great-- now we use ours on high wear area of augers
