Subject: RE: trimble ez pilot question

You can not run an EZ Pilot with an EZSteer 500. The options are CFX750, FMX, TMX2050 and the current GFX models (with proper unlock). We’ve run an EZPilot with all four options. CFX will be fine so long as it’s the only system your neighbor plans to run as the firmware is unique to that display. The best performing option would be a TMX or GFX using Precision IQ.

We’ve updated our EZPilots on the TMX’s to autopilot motor drive (NAV3 instead of IMD600) and unlocked the GFX to EZPilot Pro. Both of these options are a significant improvement over the EZPilot when it comes to line acquisition and engagement when stopped. Using NextSwath on the TMX’s. Would highly recommend these options if your neighbor struggles with vision in any way.

If your neighbor is interested in a used display, we have one or two that don’t get used enough. Would work with them on a CFX750, TMX2050 or even a XCN1050 (GFX750) with EZPilot Pro. 33zero.46six.161one
