Faunsdale, AL | I found this torch and 4 different bottles of powder for sale. Figured I could find a use for it and that day has arrived.
But it won’t deliver any powder.
Without the bottle on, torch burning, lever depressed, I can feel and hear a slight suction in the hole where the powder bottle locks into the top of the torch. I’ve blown through and out the torch tip with compressed air and can see a tiny hole that must be open through the lever operated valve.
Powder looks like dust, heavy dust……no lumps. All 4 bottles of powder were capped when I got the torch and the guy I bought it from said he had used it before. Obviously not much since all 4 bottles are nearly full.
What’s the trick to this thing?
