Please check the orientation of the EZ-Steer controller box. It has to be connectors pointing forwards, backwards or down. If pointing down then the top of the box with the sticker on it must be pointing forwards.
Choosing the the right orientation is in the Calibration setup.
If orientation is wrong it does what you have described.
