| I don't know what is needed for an A series, but it should be just a few cables.
It's not super clear in the above replies, but a PRO 600 or 700 would have CNH firmware flashed to it.
Any other display that uses a NAV, such as a 750 or 1000 would use the Trimble firmware.
As stated, AgExpress can flash from one firmware to the other and back again for cheap.
Also as stated, the stickers on the units really mean little, since both sold both and NAV's could have either firmware depending on what monitor it had.
We had a 215 we switched from a PRO 600 to an FMX and all we did was cable for the FMX and send the NAV out to AgExpress to be flashed.
All you "should" need would be cabling and it should work.
I's call AgExpress with the serial number of the NAV and see what if anything they have done to it. If it's 10 years or older, you are money ahead to send it in to have the power boards looked at and possibly refreshed. They can also update it for you, something you would need a laptop and adapter cable to do yourself. | |
