Bavaria/Germany | At Agritechnica they have been 6 different Chinese companies displaying Autosteer kits
All with the same Steeringwheel motor from a E-Bike motor company from Shanghai.
All others are mostly the same Software on android tablet.... Antennas ar common RTK Antennas.
The big advantage of CHinese Autosteer is: THey ar quite cheep! And the do mostly what they should do!
But....:
Even at Farmprogress show there have been CHinese Autosteer on Display:
Non of them did have a FCC certification... I wonder how they can sell it legaly in North America?
But the biggest issue is the Android Tablet! I get more and more calls from Farmers if I can help....??
Farmers are as they are and like to play around! And as it is a plain Android, some play around and do update the Android Operatingsystem:
Result: As the guidance Software is not Google Play certified sometimes the GUidance software does not start anymore or creats by them selb bad/wrong functions
Although the RTK GPS reciefers are mostly very old fashioned - more th 10 year old technics! Its like 10 0r 15 years ago, as soon as the distance to base sttion is to far, they loose ever 10 miles nearly 1 inch on Acciuracy! onthis Problem, Chinese force on their webites to buy your own base and place it beside the field!
To pricings: Here in Europe the common Retailer Price is aroudn 5000 US$ for a Steeringsystem.
But as Chinese are mostly "Alibaba dealers" everyone can buy such a steering for aroudn 2500 US$ direct in China! Just contact one of the "manufactures"
They try by hell to sell to everybody, because their Russian Busines is gone slow! Last year, as Europe and US does boycott GPS sales to Russia, the Cnines have sold more than 20 000 Autosteersystems to Russian Farmers!

But you should note and know: All your fielddatas are send every ten minutes to China! I thrues, this Autosteersystems are in my view Spytools! Chinese government doe3s so veryfy the situation on the fields world wide! Just to be informed wher to buy the chepest crops!
OK, John Deere, and all other do nearly the same! So may be it doesnt matter wher to send your data? Its up to you!!! Chinese say: we need this data for evalution of the software...
So finaly: TO pay more that 2500 US$ is wasted money! Always remember: "You get what you pay for"
