Northern edge Mahnomen County | I had 3442, 3322, and 3301 this year. I didn't do any specific or measured trials, but planted and combined each variety in separate blocks. 3442 was the lowest for yield and in the middle for harvest moisture. My agronomist said some of his other customers were disappointed with it too.
3322 had the highest yield and was the wettest. 3301 was middle for yield and dryest at harvest, but not by much.
Again, I didn't do any measured trials, this is just my observations from the combine cab. I do have to add all three varieties yielded well above expectations, but that was very common for my area this year. |
