StarFire 7000s are readily available
Internal chip change in StarFire 7500 requires different software is their reasoning for the model number change. I'm also hearing future autonomy applications might require the 7500.
There is no known end of life date for the StarFire 3000. There will be an end of factory support sometime soon, but that does NOT mean they'll stop working
