It feeds from the top chain, so it will pull a little grain around the bottom chain when it dumps into the auger or leg. It doesn't clean out completely, might have a 5 gallon bucket of grain in it when finished. Can try and get some pictures when I get back to work.


Are you sure you don't have it running backwards? It should clean out completely and the top chain should be the return chain instead of the chain pulling grain. That is if you have the same model we do. Ours does not have a false floor between the top and bottom chains. I have often wished it did have a false floor and used the top chain to convey as that would have cut down on splatter and increased capacity I think.

We also would lay plywood between the ramps so spillage was easy to clean up at the end of the day and we didn't have to worry about being perfect with the truck position.
