| I have no clue about drone regulations but here’s my situation. I bought my grandparents farm on land contract and grandma still lives on the property for no charge and takes care of the home insurance. The insurance company that she’s had for 30 years sent her a letter claiming there was debris and hazards on the property. (I’ve cleaned up lots of trees and have equipment sitting out currently. Planning on putting up a shed next year) I have a pile of trees and a pile of scrap metal in the back corner is all. So the insurance company used a drone to fly over and look at the property because it’s not visible from the road. They never had permission to look. Now they are threatening to drop her insurance. I understand if you’re under 400 ft it’s ok but is there a minimum height to be fly over someone’s home/yard? It’s more of a situation to throw all of this back in their face. It’s just frustrating that the place was more of a hazard beforehand than it is now after working hard to clean it up. Here’s before and after satellite images. There’s been more gravel added since
