| The revelation by Henry Paulson regarding the Russians approaching the Chinese in 2008 ..while not surprising to most oldsters...it suddenly explains part of the sudden unwinding of July 2008...there were a few rumors during the first week of July that some hedge funds were running over themselves in Asia...also explains why Bush II and Paulson & Helicopter Ben appeared so pale during their initial appearances & why Bush II suddenly seemed missing in action...in the world of international politics....in view of the history of the Soviets & Chinese....to expect "hand holding & understanding & pat on the back & have another go at it boys...." would indeed be a foolish interpretation in my opinion. We are not through this thing yet (unscathed) .....the histories of which I am familiar infer aggressive countries tend to exploit weakness.....we have termites in our foundation. | |
