I don't think it will be an issue, at least I hope not as I going to be doing the same thing with an envizio pro.  I'd like the standalone unit too, every once in a while one pops up for sale but I don't see them until after they are sold....

The only thing that's going to be a pain is having to start a job on the epro just for boom height, not sure that there is any way around that.


My AL parts on are order so I'll find out soon enough.  I knew of at least two units in the area that were using the raven for steering and AL for product control so I know that is possible and this would be similar.  

Another function I'm going to lose is the wireless remote for the boom sections.  I know I could rig up an aftermarket setup to do the same thing but since I'm going have to leave the epro in for the autoboom I might try to tee the boom sections in for that too.  Nice thing about the remote is it works without having a job started, unlike the boom height.
