| I have two of those pumps on two different fuel trailers, except larger; mine are 1-1/2" outlet. They have pumped tens of thousands of gallons of fuel for me during many late ND harvests for more than 10 years. Air consumption on my pumps is about 25-30 cfm. A gas powered air compressor with a Honda 630cc engine provides enough air. They pump about 70 gpm with 50' of 1-1/2" fuel hose, automatic nozzle, and 2 fuel filters. I add 1 oz of winter air tool lubricant in the compressed air stream every time I refuel the trailers, this prevents them from freezing up. The only thing I dislike is that the hose is a bit heavy and clumsy when climbing up the rear stairs of the combines, but that's the price you pay for fast refueling. | |
