For only 5k tons just get a Dion. Engines are expensive, if you get a SP and it takes a major crap you’ll never cut enough to cover the loss.
If you must have a SP, get a JD 6810, 6910, or 6950. The cummins is the cheapest engine out there in a SPFH. Do not, under any circumstance, get a FX New Holland.
Oh I know that traded my 2115 of a fx45 omg that was the dumbest thing I ever have done in my life. Then the dealer wouldn’t take it on trade on a fx58 with the cat engine. But magically both burnt down within a month of each other.
