Latimer, Iowa (north central) | The mills and stores do have a way of marking it up. There are “grinder mixers” here that have rollers instead of hammers for doing the milling. Not as common and look pretty much like a regular Grinder mixer with a tank, scale, and auger.
Your last sentence should be there is alot of profit in the middle for turning a commodity into a consumer product. ;-). We could all be more profitable if took some focus off of growing the maximum amount of a single low priced commodity possible. Diversity can add resiliency and independence. |
