| All replies suggesting a 492 are right. Good reliable machines with minimal electrical things to go wrong. The trouble is, most 492 are high hour machines at this point. I ran a 900 for 10 seasons. Lots to like about it, plenty of repairs as well.
I’m not sure I would want the trouble of a SP harvester for those kind of tonnes. Are contractors that hard to come by?
We run a 494 960 now, about 40k ton a year. Got to buy a crate engine this season. Guess we were due…
