SE PA
Guy I help most of harvest had a 7500 with a pro drive. It left after going through a handful of pro drives. Took silage truck to help another crew that ran a 7500 and was told if it was the same machine to turn around, come home, dont even load, dont want any chance of bringing that bad luck back. He was pretty much green until that. 7500 left and an 870 Claas showed up.

The 7500 really cut for the part of the time it was actually functioning correctly. He liked his 6950s he had before the 7500.

I'd agree with the guys suggesting a 492 series Claas. Maybe your JD dealer is better then ours here.

An 8 row head is really nice compared to a 6 row as stated for opening up to pass.

Lot of corn got cut with Claas RU series cornheads. Orbis is nice but a good RU works just fine. RU is old enough that low use ones are harder to find but cheap wore out Orbis bring their own headaches that take a lot of fun out of chopping. An Orbis is a nice upgrade though.

They are all expensive when you hit something with them.
