Subject: RE: Air operated fuel pump?

It’s all “what’s your time worth”? I was amazed when I heard $25k+ for THUNDER fuel trailers. “How can that be worth it?” Well I soon saw in larger operation how that unit was dang near small, too slow. 3 combines, grain cart +300 hp and big tillage tractor. All with DEF. Plus onboard air if any tires looked low.
For me 10 gpm from a 30 gallon barrel works great. Put 28 in, tractor left full, wife brings lunch (full tank strapped in pickup). I go till midnight, often done long before. West farm a few refuels. But I barely grease disc before it’s done.
Figure your needs, time used. Truck bed fuel tanks are going cheap. As more buy trailers. If @90 gallons in 8-15 minutes? Works for you. If not look at going bigger.
