| Jared, I was invited to attend a very informative agronomy meeting several years ago held at the big indoor water park at the Dells. There were several AgTalkers in attendance, IIRC Loran Steinlage pretty much put the agenda together. I can’t remember them all, but here’s the ones I do remember and maybe one of them can chime in and concur with a comment a panel agronomist made, Joel Gruver, Jacob Bolson, Charlie Hammer, Sparrell? This Wisconsin agronomist, I can’t recall his name, made a statement I Havnt forgotten, “Those of You who are banding your fertilizer at removal rates, for the life of me, I don’t know why you’d even soil test”. And this was from a guy who’s main business was soil testing. | |
