Repeated trials across all soil types?
Where is data that shows broadcasted fertilizer should be spread at 1.5x the rate?
The strip till salesman? The little guy in your head when you bought it?
where is physical data instead of “I always thought”
To be fair I don’t strip till, I don’t have the soils to be able to do it, or topography. But I do not spread 1.5x removal rate, never crossed my mind.
Now the strip till arguement can’t be: I’m putting fertilizer where roots grow. Roots don’t grow up. And that I agree with. Any agronomist worth his salt will agree with me on that statement.
