Subject: RE: Sprocket and pulley sets

Sac & Story county IA
I have bought pallet lots of sprockets and hubs and pulleys. The problem I have is if the hub is 1/16 off, no go. And once I use all the popular size stuff, I have oddballs left.
I would lean more towards tapered hub stuff than weld.
I have bought a 40 pound box of hydraulic adapters. 10-15 years later, I have the darnedest collection of odd adapters.
Being close to Omaha, Lincoln, Chicago, I get near next day service from Baum Hydraulic, Surplus Center, and McMaster Carr.
But it sure is nice to have shelves to go pick through. Sometimes a guy comes up with something usable.

This guy thinks he has $2500 worth of pulleys. Might be optimistic?
