SC Kansas | I’ve seen this multiple times in the last 20 years, I know it’s not just a one off. Why will cows always go for year old bales vs the ones made this summer? Example, I have some very good Sudan grass/ cane from this year and failed milo from last year that I’m feeding now, a bale of each , each time. They completely clean up the year old failed milo before they eat much of the new cane. Have always chalked it up to,they like the older stuff because it’s a bit different tasting because it grew in different conditions. What say you? | |
