Most likely you learned something from the people I provided links to their interviews/presentations. I try to link to information that are both 1. interesting (at least to me :_)) and 2. provided by someone with at least some credentials that makes a person think they should know what they are talking about (and they actually may or may not - everyone has to decide that for themselves).
I like to bring up things that are worthy for discussion and may be outside the box of normal thinking. Some information a person might not have considered.
After all, if we all agreed on everything, what would be the purpose of discussion? Might as well just talk to ourselves. (ok, just because I do that, don't be judgemental, LOL)
The value of discussion is to be exposed to thoughts and information we might not have discovered or considered within our own mind.
